This DIY night light message board is such a refreshing and thoughtful gift. I got one for myself, and my little one absolutely loves drawing and writing on it¡ª it¡¯s so sweet to see their creations light up! Made of acrylic with a sturdy wood stand. The board is compact, super easy to set up, and adds a cute touch with the soft night light. It¡¯s easy to write on with the erasable pen, and cleanup is a breeze with the included rag. I also love the different color modes, which add a fun vibe to any message.
This is a cute little set. It has a rainbow of color options which dim and brighten. The last three options are color-changing options that rotate all of the available colors and the dim feature becomes a speed-changing feature. The first switches cleanly between each color, second fades between colors and the third fades in and out on each color in turn. It comes with a white dry erase pen, but other regular dry erase pens work as well (but don’t look quite as cute in the light). It appears white dry erase pens are pretty easy to find replacements for online. The whole set does need to be plugged in to work – it’s not a chargeable item, which does limit where you can use it as you have to be close to a USB-A port. Counter to the instructions on the page, the acrylic sheet did not come with any sort of cover…. it does seem to scratch kind of easily, and mine has some sort of black residue/staining along one side that doesn’t seem to come off with the enclosed cloth or which a wet wipe. It’s not super obvious, but it’s there. For the price, this item is fine, and a child would probably have a good time with this in their room – a good, inexpensive gift for a teen.
